Third Generation

ROBERT JOHN
13 January 1815 - 25 December 1899

Fifth known child of Georg Philip and Elizabeth Lane.
Married on 13 July 1839, Phoebe Green of Lymington (11 November 1814 - 11 March 1877)

Ten children (One named John, not found) There appears to be a child called "Sissy", but since there are no records found, we feel it is a nickname for one of the daughters listed here.
Note: In a letter to Carol, in reply to her queries March 1993, Bill states that he had in his possession a few photos of Fanny, Sissy and Louisa. This would mean that neither Fanny or Louisa are referred to as 'Sissy', and must therefore be the nickname of one of the 3 other girls.
